Bio/Description

Emily Aronson joined the Office of Communications in 2007. As assistant managing editor and campus life writer, she writes news and feature stories for Princeton University channels and assists with the planning, editing and coordination of editorial content for the Princeton homepage. She collaborates on strategic communications projects with the office’s multimedia, creative and social media teams, as well as with partners across campus. Emily previously worked on the media relations team, serving as University spokesperson and media officer.

Prior to arriving at Princeton, Emily was a reporter and community editor at the Portsmouth Herald in New Hampshire. Her work included covering the 2004 presidential primary and election. She holds a B.A. from Brandeis University, and she earned a program certificate from Boston University’s Washington Journalism Center.

Emily lives in Lambertville (voted the most charming town in New Jersey) and enjoys spending free time with her husband, children and dog, Dolly.
