Overview
Our editorial staff can help you communicate stories about Princeton's teaching, research and campus life using a full breadth of written and multimedia formats crafted for the University's many platforms.
Telling Your Story
We focus on writing and multimedia storytelling in support of the University's mission and institutional priorities.
We encourage the campus community to contact us with ideas and news about research, teaching and campus life for stories on the princeton.edu homepage and University social media channels. Our stories are available to you to republish to your Princeton website and share on your social channels.
We also regularly publish stories from across campus. We will work with you to prepare your story for the homepage and other University channels.
The editorial team collaborates with our media relations and social media staff to help disseminate Princeton news. We also write and curate communications for specific audiences as they emerge as priorities.
If you have a story idea to share with us, contact Becky Batcha, managing editor, or our writers, Emily Aronson (campus life), Liz Fuller-Wright (sciences) and Jamie Saxon (arts & humanities).
Editing
We are committed to ensuring accuracy and relevance in mission-central materials about the University. Partnering with you and the rest of our creative team, we work to ensure the stories you tell are engaging, clear and effective. Our editorial style guide offers tips to help you during the writing and editing process.
Consulting
We are available to provide insights on the best way to approach a story or editorial project. As we work with a range of people in offices across campus, we can help "connect the dots" in information.
We also are here to help if you have questions about tone or editorial consistency. We can advise on freelance writing or editing options.
